Wizards - Create a Newsletter


Step 1: Access the Newsletter Wizard

Set up a newsletter through the use of a Publisher Wizard. Upon the completion of the wizard, you will customize the newsletter with your text and graphics. Begin a new file by clicking File, New, Publications by Wizard, and Newsletters. Scroll through the list of available Newsletter styles. Click Fading Frame Newsletter and click Start Wizard. Step 2: Select Colours & Columns

Scroll through the list of available colour schemes. Single-click the one you want to use and click Next. Determine how many columns you want each page of your newsletter to contain. Step 3: Determine if Address Needed

You will be asked if you would like to leave a placeholder for a customer's address. In this case, imagine that you are preparing a newsletter that you will send to people. Select yes and click Next. determine if address needed: Thumbnail


 

 

 

 

 

Step 4: Printing Guidelines

You will need to decide if you want to print on single-sided paper or on double-sided paper. Click single-sided paper and click Next. Click Yes for modifying the layout. Click Finish to end the use of the Wizard. Click Hide Wizard at the bottom of the Wizard to begin customizing your newsletter with your own text, articles, and pictures. Printing guidelines: Thumbnail


 

 

 

 

 

Step 5: How to Customize Text

Click inside of any text box. Highlight the text that appears. Type your own text in the space provided. This applies to titles, article text, captions under pictures, and any other text items. Changing text is easy. Customise text: thumbnail


 

 

 

Step 6: How to Customize Graphics

Double-click any graphic you see on the page. This selects the graphic and brings up the Microsoft Clip Gallery. Select any picture you prefer to use. Scroll through the list of categories and pictures to find the one you like best. Click OK once you have clicked on your selection. Customise graphics: Thumbnail

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 7: Information on Pages

You can change to a different page in the newsletter by clicking the arrow that appears either before or after the page listed on the bottom right hand side of the document window. You can delete any page by changing to the page and then clicking Edit, Delete Page, and OK. By default, the newsletter contains four pages when you begin. You can add additional pages by changing to the page where you would like to add a page and clicking Insert, Page, and selecting the page type and clicking OK. Page information


 

 

 

Step 8: Save the File

Save the file if you would like. Click File, click Save As, type the name for the file, and click Save. Close the file when you are finished by clicking File and then Close. Save file: Thumbnail
