Adding Rows & Columns 


Step 1: Add Row - Position Cursor

In this example, you will see how to insert a row in your table. Let's say you want to add a row between the second and third person in the table. Position your cursor at the end of the second row. Add row: Thumbnail

 

 

 

 

 

Step 2: Insert a Row

Click Table on the menu. Now click Insert Rows or Columns. Click Rows and make sure the number of rows to insert is 1. Make sure you select "after selected cells" as your choice for where to insert the row. Click Apply and click OK. Step 3: Add Column - Position Cursor

In this example, you will see how to insert a column in your table. Lets say you want to add a column after the last row. Position your cursor at the end of the fourth column. Add Column: Thumbnail


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 4: Insert a Column

Click Table on the menu. Now click Insert Rows or Columns. Click Columns and make sure the number of columns to insert is 1. Make sure you select "after selected cells" as your choice for where to insert the column. Click Apply and click OK. Step 5: Resave the File

Resave the file by clicking the image of the disk that appears on the toolbar. If you are planning to continue, leave the file open on your screen. Save file
