Publisher Help 


Step 1: Via the Toolbar

Click the Microsoft Publisher Help icon that appears on the toolbar. You will be asked, "What would you like to do?" In this example, you are trying to figure out how to make text appear in bold print. In the space provided, type BOLDFACE TEXT and click Search. Click on the option that sounds the most like what you want to do - in this case, click on "make text bold." After reading the response, close the help window by holding Shift & clicking F1 at the same time. Close the helper window as well! Via toolbar

 

 

 

Step 2: Via the Menu

To access help via the menu, click Help and then click Microsoft Publisher Help. Follow the directions in the previous step regarding how to continue. Via the menu


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 3: Via the Contents

If you have a broad idea about the topic you need help with, consider accessing Microsoft Publisher's Table of Contents for Help. To do this, click Help and then click Contents. Major topics such as how to create a web site and how to make business cards are covered. Step 4: Via the Index

If you know something about your topic, you may want to try to locate help via the Microsoft Publisher Index. To do this, click Help and then click Index. Type the topic you are looking for and press enter. To exit the index, hold the shift key and press F1 at the same time. Via index
