Word Help: The Office Assistant

Introduction:

Regardless of your level of computer experience, you might need help from time to time, especially when you're learning a new software program. By default, Microsoft's Office Assistant appears, ready to help you, as soon as you start a program. The Office Assistant is an animated feature you can use to help you navigate new tasks or find additional information about a feature. Use Office Assistant to look up specific instructions or topics with which you want help.

Step 1: Open Office Assistant

By default, Office Assistant appears when you first use a program or tackle a new feature. To summon the assistant at any time, simply press F1 or open the Help menu and select Show the Office Assistant. Open office assistant: Thumbnail
