PC Repairs

Computers are funny things (Although you may not think it when they don't work). They can be happily chugging along one minute then you come to switch it on the next day and all it does is bleep incomprehensibly at you. A frustrating and if you have important information on it a worrying experience

Why Do Computers Go Wrong

Well this is a question which can have many possible answers but can be broadly broken down into two categories

HARDWARE FAULTS: Put simply this means one or more of the computers components (These are the many different electronic bits that make up a computer) has malfunctioned (In Computers terminology = BUSTED). Surprisingly these tend to be quite easy to diagnose and solve (In computer terminology = find the BUSTED bit and replace it)

SOFTWARE FAULTS: These are potentially much more difficult to solve. To get anything to work on the computer, software (computer programs) needs to be installed to tell the various components what to do and how to relate with other software. As more software is installed so the potential for conflicts increase.

Either of these two categories of problems can leave you looking at a blank computer screen wondering what to do next

What Can You Do?

Well that's easy (No we don't recommend the use of a heavy object!!) why not use our

Call Out Service only £35

Give us a call. we will come out and diagnose the problem and if possible fix it there and then. The standard call out fee is £35 and we do not charge any hourly rates so you dont have to worry about huge bills. If we fix it there and then thats all you are charged (Plus the cost of any parts if required).

If this is not possible we will take the computer away and give you a quote before starting any work. It will be a lot cheaper then using the hammer
